About Company
Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet’s Company Program offers dancers accelerated training and access to additional performance and competitive opportunities. Our Company dancers, ages 8-18, train between 6 and 15 hours per week in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Acrobatics, and Strength/Conditioning. The goal of our Company Program is to train well-rounded dancers who are set up for success in the dance world!
Company is audition or invitation based only! Auditions for our 2026-2027 Company will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 1:00-3:00.
The Academy currently has 5 companies for dancers ages 8+
Pre Company
Schedule Requirements:
Summer:
Minimum of 2 Weeks of Company Camp and Intensive August 3rd-7th
School Year:
- 2-3 days a week including:
- Ballet (2x a week), Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, extra class of choice
Additional Requirements:
- Nutcracker Ballet
- Florida Dance Masters Convention
- Recital
Mini Company
Schedule Requirements:
Summer:

School Year:
3-4 days a week including:
Ballet (3x a week), Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acro, Pre-Pointe
Additional Requirements:
- Nutcracker Ballet
- Christmas Spectacular
- Florida Dance Masters Convention and Competition
- Recital
Apprentice Company
Schedule Requirements:

Minimum of 3 Weeks of Summer Classes and Intensive August 3rd-7th (mandatory)

4-5 days a week including:

Junior/Senior Company

*Company placement is at the discretion of the Director and teachers and is based on technique level as well as age.
We do not offer free trials in the summer
Teacher’s Assistants in most children’s classes provide an extra hand to the students and help the teachers ensures that individualized attention is given to each student.
